3 Lessons From Behind Closed Doors

I spent the week with our leadership team at Real planning and visioning for the future.

Here are 3 big lessons that could help you.

  1. You can’t do epic things with B-players.  You can accomplish almost anything you dream about when you look around the room with a bunch of A players… A players maybe 10-50% more expensive but they can drive 10x the results. You are hiring yourself an unfair advantage.
  2. Planning is not just looking forward, it’s also learning from the past. Look back at your last set of plans and grade yourself. Why you were able to accomplish or not accomplish something is deeply insightful information.
  3. Make a hardline decision for what moves the needle and what doesn’t. Maybe is not focusing on projects that add less that $50 to the bottom line. Maybe it’s leaving your social media hashtag strategy alone but beef up your content creation itself. You can’t do every project so give yourself a way to separate the profitable activities from the noise… because focus > intelligence.

Oh if you are in the real estate business… think about the future.

Battle test your thinking…

Not just any future, a bigger and better future.

✅ The future of real estate is not a place… it’s a collaborative network.

✅ The model is not just about your % split… it’s true economic partnership for the future.

✅ The culture is not a set of words on a plaque… it’s an inspiring energy.
